The diversity that is at the core of the Union is also a big challenge and the Union delegates enormous resources and encourages inventions that allow all Union member species to participate as Union citizens at all aspects of society.

Logic, physical limitations, common sense and environmental needs however may be limiting. Union military limits beings able to serve via the Basic Physical Requirements.

The Union I general adapted this and created 7 Basic Physical groups

• 1 Ba Phy Standard
• 2 Ba Phy XL
• 3 Ba Phy XXL
• 4 Ba Phy H (Harmful)
• 5 Ba Phy XS
• 6Ba Phy X
• 7 Ba Phy NTS

1. Ba Phy 1 –sentient , capable of living extended under one Gee and breathing Nitrogen Oxygen gases. Size: 60 cm to 300 cm. 30 -300 kg
2. Ba Phy 2 - sentient , capable of living extended under one Gee and breathing Nitrogen Oxygen gases. Size: 300 – 600 cm.  300-3000 kg
3. Ba Phy 3 – Sentient of 3000 – 10,000 kg Size: 600 cm – 100 meter
4. Ba- Phy H – Sentient that are harmful to others due to their nature or need environments that are harmful to other, but are sized between Ba-Phy 1-3
5. Ba-Phy XS – Small Life forms that are 30 cm or less or cannot tolerate gravitation of One Gee or higher.
6. Ba- Phy X – Special Life forms that can be accommodated with technical solutions.
7. Ba-Phy NTS – No technical solution exists, to accommodate these life forms
