Orbital Assault Support Tank Phantera S
(General Electrics /De Noir OAST P III)
Also called the Baby Tiger by Union Marines as the OAST PIII is a smaller version of the OAA III (Orbital Assault Armor) Phantera M

The OAST PIII ( The P III was produced from 4780 – 4830) was a stop gap development and did not see very much service time (It was produced for 50 years and saw about 100 years of service)
The original OAST PIII weapon system was conceived during a period of relative peace and then saw action in the Andromeda Galaxy against the Pertharians where it was not as effective as the marines would have liked, many units were lost against the heavy TKU like weapons the Pertharians fielded. Marines used the bigger Main Battle Tank OAA III in the Recon and support roles during that war foe which the OAST PIII was designed.
When the new KM – Warthog OAST became available, the OAST Phantera was decommissioned, existing units mothballed or recycled. Several Units were sold as scrap to former Marines.[1]
The main role for an OAST PIII is ground recon and light Infantry support. It has about the same firepower as 2 Quasimodos, but has greater ammo and energy reserves and extends the ground operations time for a Platoon of marines by carrying additional supplies. Its secondary role is that of a Battle walker and Battle Robot killer.
The OAST P III is a classical Walker tank -Orbital Drop capable, limited Flight capable. Ultronit Armor, Military Shields, Dual Plutonium Slug thrower Cannons. Battle Grade Laser Pulse Cannons and Inferno Flamers as main armament.
