------------------------------ When the Union was founded the System Pluribus was almost equidistant to Terra, Sares and Pan Saran space and thus chosen to be the place for the new joint government. But the Union grew fast and with the Ult and Saresii a new System, more or less by accident, became the new central system in terms of being equidistant. It started with SII looking for a place to centralize their new Space train technology and connect all major population centers. It was found in an already Union System with a Blue Star and a host of 13 planets. The only Garden World was an Earth sized moon around one of the Jovian Planets. The moon world called is Blue Moon due to the deep blue oceans and the blue ice that covers most of the planet’s surface, became the name for the entire System. When SII located its Space Train HQ there and Gray Lines Space Bus put its main depot here, the system grew into the largest logistics, distribution and traffic hub of the Union. Even though Blue Moon is no longer at the geographical center of the Union it is still its main traffic hub. It is the busiest and most visited star system far exceeding even Pluribus. There are no less than 45 Class A and 80 Class B Space Ports in the System. There are over 200 specialized ports such as Fuel tanker mooring, ore and bulk freight processing docks and Company ports. More than sixty percent of all traded wares go through Blue Moon System. The only System with a very detailed traffic control system and a dedicated System Traffic Control Department. The only system where even an unaided eye can see ship traffic.
