The Bureau of Colonist Affairs can refer to one of two different organizations.
United Earth Bureau of Colonist Affairs - Founded in 2128 as a result of discussions created by Stahl's Nine Point Plan to provide a central organization catering to the needs of Colonists, new Colonies and assist Settlers and migration seeking groups. With the founding of the United Stars of the Galaxy, it, like most other government organizations of the United Earth was officially disbanded.
Union Bureau of Colonist Affairs - Founded in 2222 with the founding of the United Stars of the Galaxy, it initially functioned identically to its UE predecessor. Between 2222 and 2225, a number of changes were made in the way the Bureau functioned, in order to better reflect the new reality[1]
