Chasm of the Howling spirit is a huge deep hole like shaft inside the Maw of Death Entrance (Planet Tomb World , Upstairs - Maw of Death Entrance)
The shaft reaches over 2000 meters down with a narrow ledge path spiraling down on its walls. When the wind comes from the east and enters the Maw of Death
Cave it creates a Vortex draft down the Chasm and makes a howling wind sound that sometimes reminds one of mournful voices.
It is a well liked tourist feature. the local priests of the Belmac insist it is the death and not the wind.
