Rumors persist that there once was a native sentient life form on Dyne. There had also been numerous colonization attempts but constant pirate raids destroyed everything and depleted whatever colonies there were.
Today it is one of the worst hell and dirt holes in the galaxy and in general not even frequented by pirates anymore.
Only low end scavengers, out of luck freelancers and Thrash gangs are found here.
Neither the Karthanians nor the Togar claim this world. Even though it is a garden world, the conditions are deplorable and not worth agravating others. (Togar angering the Karthanians by colonizing it or the Karthanians stirring up the Togar by taking posession of this unimportant world)
Wolunk , a scrap and occational slave dealer frequents Dyne to buy the low grade scrap and scavenged materials, the locals can't get rid of at Brhama port.
The Basset family is also not to keen on slave trade and while they allow the occational one or two slaves deals between pirates. They don't allow slave traders to do regular business.
