GalNet Central on Ulta Moon has the maximum range currently achievable ( 10,000 Light-years)

Gal Com only offers 2D Visuals and Sound. Time Delay: None - GalCom PDD enabled Devices have a range of 50 LY. Needs much less energy than GalNet (but needs its own energy source)

[1] GalNet can transmit up to 50KW/hr to Power Recievers (for a fee) and all GalNet Terminals are usually energy independent.
Myon Transponders
Myon Transponders can send messages (Analog Sound or simple Analog Visuals ) over great distance ( 20,000 -50,000 Light-years and even further) but the Signal travels only at about 512 time the speed of light. A message sent across 100 Light Years takes 71 days to reach its destination. (Ships of TL 6 are faster)
500-600 LY - Simple Digital or analog signals. 15,000 times TL - Faster than most ships but Still not instantaneous and range is limited to 500 -600 LY.
