Gariel, the Mighty
He is one of the 12 Knights of Light . He has been recruited by Lord Lumis . While Gariel's origin is unclear, it is assumed he is not of the Prime Universe but of an Upper Realm . Gariel was considered the most powerful of the Knights of Light and perhaps equal to Lumis himself. Gariel was described to be even more arrogant and aloft than Lumis.
Gariel was slain by Luc in a duel they fought on Sin 4 . Shea inherited Gariel's sword Shine .
