First surveyed in 2112 OTT as part of the Saran Survey Assistance initiative . The system has 5 planets and an asteroid belt . It was claimed by the Sarans , and the 2nd planet a marginal garden world. The Sarans did not utilize it and had no objectios against UE taking posession.
First colonists arrived in 2114 OTT.

Gliese 450 is a red dwarf star in the constellation Ursa Major. At 28 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 9.76. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 15.1 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 24,100 and 35,500 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
