Grand Wizard
Short version of a Kermac Title of Office. The Grand Wizard is the leader of the Kermac Society. Grand Wizards rise to power by intrigue and success and appealing to the Grand Wizard in power, who selects his successor. Technically a Grand Wizard should be no longer in office than 10 years, but sitting Grand Wizards can decide to extend that period (they usually do) to whatever they decide as their motivations are not to be questioned by lower life forms (including other Wizards) . Grand Wizards have ultimate power but are intriqued and schemed against. Grand Wizards are sometimes very "accident" prone and because of that are often quite paranoid and have those around them executed, brain wiped or "replaced".
