According to him, he was to be the Criminal and prepare Humankind criminal element for the Ascent and for the coming of the Dark One . Only McElligott ever met him shortly after the Ascent. He was the forgotten one. When other immortals learned of his existence, they questioned his task and accused him of becoming the "Criminal" on his own choice.
Hector became the head of the Worm and eventually moved his lair to Alvor's Cove inside an extinct volcano.
He fell in love with Black Velvet and abducted her on Alvor's Cove .
He was arrested by the Crew of the Tigershark .
