Orbital Assault Armor - Warthog (Krauss Maffay)
The Warthog is a direct result of the Pertharian war. It has replaced the OAST P III (Baby Tiger) as the main recon and OAST platform of the United Stars Marine Corps until 4990. It has better armor and more firepower than the Phantera. It also moved away from leg based locomotion and returned to a track based propulsion system. The Warthog is fully flight-capable and has active camouflage (The last Warthog series (Warthog B) can cloak.) It has stronger shields and uses the same three shield configuration, Fleet equipment does. The Warthog can operate fully autonomous with its advanced onboard AI. Warthog Units can unite under Swarm AI (Klack Development). It has increased self-repair capabilities and can salvage other Warthogs or useable tech to affect repairs. Designed to work in close cooperation with Cerberus robots, Warthogs are a terrible battlefield opponent and among the most successful Union Terran weapon platform concepts.
