Katthais
the Katthais lizard native to Alvor's Cove is a large semi vegetarian life form that has been domesticated as a beast of burden and riding animal. Alvor's Cove has many native lizard species and the Katthais comes in various colors and sizes. There are mountain Katthais and Plane Katthais. The difference is size and agility. The slightly larger Plane Katthais is a popular mount of Desert scavengers , because of its ability to store water for a long time and tollerate the blistering heat. A well known fact is the stench that these beasts emit. It is very offensive to many beings with noses.
Most locals have gotten used to it.
