A natural satellite , or moon, is a celestial body that orbits another body, e.g. a planet, which is called its primary.
By Union Law a moon belongs to its primary. Meaning moons of occupied planets can not be colonized, claimed or utilized by an entity not native to the mother planet. However moons can be sold or leased. This law only covers moons within Union Space.
Hovever if the moon is the occupied object and the world is not utilized or occupied. The world may be utilized or occupied by another entity. In such cases or if there are several occupied moons and a dispute arrises over the association, an Assembly decision is to be the deciding factor.
An occupied moon with a population of 1 million or more has the right to send a reprentative to the Assembly. It then is classified as Union World .
