Science Department
Department aboard a Union Ship. All Union ships (military and Government ships) are by charter also science vessels and even the most dedicated Planet Bomberhas a Chief Science Officer and a Science Department. The size, mission and staffing might vary greatly, but the science department includes Lab facilities, science sensors and scientific personnel. The Science Department is led by a Chief Science Officer which is a Senior Bridge Officer position.
