I was starting to do a tree with Eric's male ancestors along with their dates of birth and death when known
Isegrim's page shows DOB of Dec. 5th, 4982; making him about 17 when Eric is born and 9(!) when he marries Ilva (age 27) in 4991. This can't be right.
Because 2nd son Hogun's page shows DOB of Mar. 12th, 4950, these dates make Hogun the 1st Born. The rewrite indicates Hogun left in 4979, when he was about 29. So Hogun's DOB makes sense.
If we change Isegrim's DOB to Dec. 5th, 4948, that would make him roughly 15 months older than Hogun, 43 years old when he marries Ilva in 4991 and 50 years old when Eric is born on Oct. 7th, 4999. (Fixes the problems, and seems more reasonable.)
Because Isegrim's page shows age of 98 at death, he dies between Dec. 6th 5046, and Dec 4th, 5047. So we'll have to fix that also. Hopefully that doesn't mess up any of your rewrite timelines,

On second thought, (after triple checking with the rewrite) if you go with:
Isegrim to Dec 5, 4962 = 1-2 years older than Ilva about 29 @ marriage, 36 @ Eric’s birth and dies Dec. 6th 5060 – Dec. 4th, 5061.
Hogun then to Mar. 12, 4964 = leaving Nilfeheim @ about age 16 (even better as Hogun still would have been in his "rebellious years").
That seems even more reasonable to me as the rewrite refers to Isegrim as a "young man".

The Birth dates were a project I wanted to tackle with the rewrite , the only date set in stone is Erics birthday.All others need to be (as correctly identified) checked and adjusted with the average generation being about 22 years.
So go ahead if you want and adjust the birthdays of Hogun et al and I incorpporate them in the story and make sure they fit
