Togar Queen
(title bestowed upon the Ruling Togar cat)
While most social positions are shred in the Togar society , it is a matriarchal oriented culture where females hold the positions of power and government. It begins in the family pod where a lead female decides on family affairs and ends with the Queen who directs the affairs of the entire society. The Togar queen is not all powerful and has to share her power with a Councilof Ministers and a Circle of Priestesses. It is the queen however who appoints the Ministers. The Queen is in office for about 20-30 years depending on her health. There is a constant scheming battle openly but mostly hidden going on at court. Hereditary rule is known but rarely occurs.
The most recent queen is also the most powerful and she has replaced many ministers with her own family. The Titile Princess is not neccesary a daughter of the Queen but a Togar Female risen in power to a point where she could become queen. There are always 20-30 Princesses.
The most potent adversary are the Priestesses. And the High Priestess of Patnera is the real power on Togr
