The Uniform Code of Military Justice , is the foundation of military law in the United Stars of the Galaxies . It was established by the Assembly in accordance with the authority given by the Citizens of the United Stars of the Galaxies and the United Stars Constitution in Article I, Section 8, which provides that "The Assembly shall have Power and be the highest authority ...To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of all military forces."
