AKA Union Health and Education Council.
This is the council that gives recommendations to the Assembly and Citizens on issues related to health and education.
As with the others, the council can only educate about issues and suggest possible solutions.
The UHC is the supervising authority for the Union Health Department and the Food an Food Commerece Safety board.
It works in conjunction with the Union School providing health and hygiene classes at Union Schools (species specific and general)
It is the joint supervsing authority of the Union Science Medical Department along with the Science Council . The UHC has the authority to dispatch Hospital vessels and Union Medical personnel within Union Space
The UHC - Director delivers the Union Health report annually to the Assembly, delivers the UHC activity report and appropiates funds and the budget.
A UHC Liason department works with BoCA to advise on potential health and saefty issues and provides council and aid to existing and new colonies if requested.
The UHC is the Chief Authority for Drug and Pharma licences and issues rules and guidelines for prescription drugs.
