general term describing space controlled/ claimed by the United Stars of the Galaxies .
It is a relative new concept between galactic political factions to claim or control Space outside / between solar systems.
Union Space is marked on Union Maps .
Union Border regions are frequently marked by Marker buoys . It is common to find a Union Checkpoint along the border regions at least every 500-1000 light years .
