Union tour
General term for an official guided event. Union officials taking a delegation of a Non Union society / civilization on a sightseeing and fact finding tour in Union space. These tours are not always the same and it is usually the visitors deciding what they want to see or experience. However some elements are always included, such as a visit tothe Assembly, to the Union museum and to famous spots and sights on Pluribus. Many visitors and delegations want to experience a Space Train trip across the Bridge or see the Devi (USS Devastator). Whenever possible these Union tours are scheduled around Union week.
Civilizations of Contact level CL Plus 4 and 5 are usually encouraged to explore the Union themselves and Visitor visas are issued to many members of their respective societies.
