Technical Term commonly used in the Union describing the status of a star.
The Union Member Species The Wurgus are known to be the best Solar and Planetar Engineers in the known Universe. They dedicated their entire society to this science and subject.
For a Fee Wurgus will examine a Star and determine the expected life time, analyze it's flaws and the Anti Matter builtup that can lead to sudden and violent flares Novas or Super Nova Events. Wurgus are able to stabilize a Sun, make it burn evenly and “Drain the Anti Matter”. Ever since the Non Corps became a Union Member many of them have chosen to study on the Wurgus Solar Academy and in turn provide the Wurgus with “Sun Divers” and experts that can examine suns in previously unattainable levels and precision. Most Sun stabilizing is paid out of the Coffers of the Union Colonist Bureau and the Wurgus Solar Engineering Companies have full contract books and work for thousands of years
Wurgus, in very rare occasions accept Non Union Contracts {1} but only after it was authorized by the Assembly. Recently the Union was reclassified as a Society of Tech Level 9.5 not in small part due to the refined Wurgus Solar Manipulation capabilities.
